The Renovator team came to PIER with a clear request: how should they make social media work harder to build their HQ brand whilst maintaining a personal connection at the local gyms? 

PIER'S APPROACH

First, we defined the brand’s core position in the health and wellness marketplace, articulating what The Renovator wanted to be known for; what really makes its clients leap out of bed at 5am for leg day?! Next we addressed consistency of tone of voice and look and feel across online touchpoints through a brand style guide. Finally, a centralised social media calendar with a content pillar structure was developed for both organic and paid posts. This ensures the content is in good shape even with multiple locations, pages and contributors. 

THE RESULTS

Brand consistency is critical to strong brand awareness and The Renovator’s multiple social platforms and pages are now aligned, no matter who is contributing content. Port Melbourne Facebook page likes have grown 185% in 6 months while Mornington’s page engagement is up 389% in the same period. Monthly pre-planned content takes the work out of social media posting, allowing The Renovator to put its energy into members. No sweat!
